Yes I am. Yes I am, yes I am, yes I am!
Anyone who knows me or occasionally dips into this blog knows that I am obsessed with food. Home cooked food, yes, which is of course better than fast food or ready meals, but food heavy on the carbs, sweet treats and portion sizes. I've been feeling a bit under the weather of late, without the energy I usually have and getting some bad eczema. I found out about the Whole 30 via some friends on Instagram and thought I'd give it a go!
It sounded like a detox / diet plan that I might be able to stick with as the focus is on eating lots of well-reared meat and fish and fresh seasonal vegetables, two things I am already passionate about.I've also heard it's easier to do if you like cooking, so that'a a bonus for me!
I'll post at the end about the food I've eaten and how I've found it. If you're interested, I really recommend reading the official Whole 30 book, It Starts with Food, before you start. It's great at explaining why you are giving up the foods you cut out in the plan, which is very motivating.
Wish me luck! x
